My fiance and I stayed at Doolin View B&B for 2 nights in October. Our guestroom, The WB Yeats, was beautiful and homely and had all the amenities we expected from a top notch hotel. The Bed and Breakfast service was outstanding, with breakfast freshly cooked every morning and personalised for us. The Family running the place were so friendly, giving us excellent tips on where to eat and the beautiful coastal walks nearby.
There is lots of parking nearby and a great selection of pubs with yummy food and live music.
We will definitely be back!
A fantastic place overlooking the beautiful Cliffs Of Moher, and surrounded by the amazing scenery Doolin has in abundance.
The hosts, Sandy & Jason, we're absolutely wonderful, and have clearly put a lot of time & love into making this place a friendly, warm, relaxing environment to stay.
We spent 2 days here, and honestly could've stayed forever.
A ferry to the Cliffs and the beautiful nearby islands are an absolute must, as are the local pubs, which offered a great atmosphere, live traditional music, and plentiful amounts of local food & drink.
Many thanks again to Sandy & Jason for their wonderful hospitality 🙂

We had a wonderful stay in Doolin View early October 2019. Our choice of accommodation was spot on. The room and bathroom were clean, tidy and comfortable. The bed gave a really good sleep. Breakfast gave a real jump start for the day, the need for lunch was only in afternoon hours. Delicious food!
The owner couple are helpful people and really take care of their business. My wife and I really happy about our stay here!
Doolin View is a lovely B&B located just a short walk from the amazing pubs of Doolin. The setting is pastoral, with the surrounding fields home to cows and horses. You can see the Cliffs of Moher in the distance, and the sun setting into the sea is most lovely. Our room and en-suite bath were both comfortable and attractive. The room was very quiet and immaculately clean. It’s a 5-8 minute walk down a quiet country lane to McDermott’s a lively pub with unbelievably delicious meals and wonderful live Irish folk music. Everyone was friendly, funny and hospitable (like most in Ireland!) The breakfast at Doolin View was made to order (you select from a menu the night before). Our breakfast was delicious and hearty. There was great conversation with other guests in the sunny dining room. Sandy, the proprietor, is a lovely, knowledgeable and friendly young lady, and her son Conner, is a delight. I would definitely stay at Doolin View again. My wife and I are seasoned travelers with exacting tastes, and we consider our night in Doolin to be one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. Be sure to visit the Aran Islands. Due to time constraints, we visited the smallest and closest island, Inisheer. Arriving on the 10:00 am ferry and leaving at 13:45, we had plenty of time to explore this beautiful island AND have an amazing lobster lunch at Radharc an... What a find! We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a trip along the Wild Atlantic Way and it was my very favourite place out of the 9 different places we stayed. Sandy was a fantastic and very friendly host and everything about the Doolin View is just perfect.
It has a great view over Doolin and the surrounding green fields. and you can also just see the Cliffs of Moher in the distance.
It's an easy walk into town, but also extremely quiet as it's down a little side street away from the bustle of town.
Sandy had thought of everything and there is so much attention to detail throughout the property, both in the rooms and the shared guest spaces.
The beds were extremely comfortable and I slept very well after all the fresh air (especially on the Cliffs of Moher!)
Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of choices and many little extras to choose from, including seeds, nuts and dried apricots.
I really hope to have the opportunity to stay here again in the future as it is one of the nicest B&Bs that I have ever stayed at. More
i cannot rate Doolin View highly enough, a group of us stayed here for one night during a tour of the Wild Atlantic Way and i fell in love with it immediately. We were greeted by Jason, who was very welcoming and friendly, the whole house is decorated beautifully and to a high standard, our room was lovely and had everything you could need, comfy bed, nice toiletries and was absolutely spotless. Breakfast was very tasty and there was a good selection to suit everyone. I cannot wait to visit again for longer next time, i really didnt want to leave!
3 of us stayed 2 nights last month, myself, my husband and my sister, we had next door rooms which was lovely. The rooms are really luxurious, beautifully appointed, with everything you need for a couple of nights stay. The bed and bedding were really comfy too. Jason gave us a great welcome when we arrived. Breakfast was delicious and the view from the breakfast room to die for.
All in all great value for money and highly recommended.
We asked for a room at last moment and owners was very kind. The rooms are beautiful, modern and clean and also in the living room you can find everything you need to relax and have a good time. Breakfast was delicious and you can choose between many options (also vegeterian). Amazing view and the owners give you torch, umbrellas, gloves and warm wears.
My family and I stayed at this fantastic b & b for a short 2 days as we traveled around Ireland. Sandy, the host, was absolutely marvelous. She anticipated our every need. The beds were very comfy, the scenery was amazing and ambience was warm and delightful. You will not regret staying here and Doolin is a very quaint little town Call Sandy direct and tell her Kathy sent you
We had a good time here, we were staying in a small separated apartment. Everything was very clean and new, but the bedroom felt a bit damp, we thought the rooms in the main house seemed better. Very friendly owner, breakfast good, bit far from town.
We stayed here for one night in June as part of our tour of the Wild Atlantic Way before moving onto Galway. As much as we loved Galway we regretted not doing one night less there and one more here, so much so that we're returning with our daughter and her partner in October for a long weekend. On our trip we did our own version of 'Four In A Bed' (sad I know, but it amused us!) rating each accommodation in Cork, Killarney, Dingle, Limerick, Clare and Galway on welcome and friendliness, cleanliness, amenities, comfort and breakfast. Doolin View was our clear favourite and winner with a score 48 out of 50. Sandy has literally thought of everything from rugs for your knees if sitting on the decking looking out towards the cliffs, torches for finding your way home of an evening, water in the rooms etc. Doolin itself is a fabulous community pulling together and supporting each other, the trad music in the pubs second to none. We CANNOT wait for our return. More
This charming inn and its lovely host offer the best in Irish hospitality. The inn is beautiful with a cozy snug (lounge) and bright dining room. Everything is fresh and updated. We stayed in the Samuel Beckett room, which was roomy and comfortable with a spacious en suite with lovely tile work. There were plenty of fluffy towels and upscale toiletries. The bed was extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows and a cozy duvet. We loved the attention to detail, like flashlights near the front door for evening walks from the village or around the beautiful countryside, and cozy blankets to use if you want to sit outside when the weather is cool. Breakfast is huge and absolutely delicious. You can order your favorites from a full breakfast menu. The level of hospitality is amazing. Sandy made great suggestions for dinner and Irish music. We decided to stay in Doolin an extra day, and while Doolin View wasn’t available, Sandy called another B&B in Doolin and got us a room. Her hospitality made our stay even more perfect! More
I can't say enough how much we loved our stay. Sandy was an absolutely lovely host. She was helpful in every possible way. The food was amazing. The location can't be topped. You have gorgeous views of all of Doolin and the ocean and Cliffs of Moher in the distance. Plus, you are a short walk to McGann's and McDermott's pubs. This was our favorite place to stay in Ireland.
Doolin View completely exceeded our expectations, spotlessly clean, an easy 10 minute walk (or less) from the village and a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside true to the name of the B&B.
The owners are the friendliest family I've met in a long time, they really embody the Irish phrase céad míle fáilte (which translates to one hundred thousand welcomes). Arrived here with our 10 month old daughter and they went literally above and beyond to keep her happy. Nothing was too much of an ask. Breakfast was top notch too (cooked to order, and a continental buffet if you get hungry in the meantime!).
Our family of 5 adults arrived to Doolin View this past week. We had three rooms between us which was perfect. The setting is just beautiful especially if you are fortunate enough to see the sun shining as we did. The owners could not have been more pleasant. Breakfast was excellent as well. Thank you and we will see you again !
Stayed here for just one night on our 10 day trip around Ireland. Sandy and Jason run a very stylish and delightful BnB with splendid views to the Cliffs of Moher.
The breakfast room is simply stunning and they offer beautiful breakfasts and are wonderful hosts. Sandy suggested visiting Loop Head and we were not disappointed, it is also a must see while in this area.
Tastefully decorated and we enjoyed our short visit very much.
The B&B was clean, friendly, and very accomodating. We had some items that needed refrigeration and the family was happy to oblige. They were flexible about breakfast and times, and the view was spectacular! We loved the salmon and eggs breakfast. Coffee was nice and strong. Yummy homemade brown bread, and she toasted it for me when I asked. We would definitely go back. The books in the room (we were in James Joyce) added to the experience because I got to read a book I never would have known about otherwise.
Although I didn't stay here personally I recently visited Doolin for a friends wedding. My B&B check in was later and my friend was staying here. The lady kindly let me get ready with my friend so we wouldn't be late. Her husband personally drove my friend and I to the village so I could drop my bags and so we would make the wedding. Really appreciated and definitely going above and beyond !!!!
